Indigenous leaders from the seven socio-cultural regions of the world convened at the JUST TRANSITION: Indigenous Peoples’ Perspectives, Knowledge, and Lived Experiences Summit in Geneva, which culminated in a document that provides 11 principles and protocols that corporate and state actors must adhere to when designing and implementing projects in the name of just, sustainable, or “green” initiatives.
